For months I have been playing with WordPress on my own. I was able to do some things but getting pretty frustrated about others. A friend of mine suggested a professional….yeah!!! So here is the new website design!!! Thank you so much, Eileen!!!!
I’ve been busy since I last posted. I’ve made a lot of new pieces so I’ll only post a few today.
The rings above are turquoise. The one on the left was a commissioned Bisbee piece and the other is a stunning Morenci turquoise. That blue is out of this world.
I made this silver leaf pendant last week. The back has *I AM* stamped on it. You can fill in the blanks……I AM…..strong, fearless, brave, a warrior……you get the drift.
Simple sterling earring. Love these babies. They’ve already gone to a new home.
When I saw this crazy lace agate it reminded me of the earth. I added moons and the sun to it and the quote….The earth turns to gold in the hands of the wise. What a beautiful saying. I’m really quite pleased with how this turned out.
Every single time I open my boxes to see the turquoise I’m still shocked how amazing each piece is. I took this large Bisbee for this bracelet. I’ve added extra links so that it can fit a large or small size.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m going to start putting out a newsletter for the latest happenings. Don’t worry….it won’t be too often. Leave your email on the right hand side if you’re wanting to keep up to date on my new releases.

My name is Manon. (pronounced Man + O) Yes….my mom cursed me with my name. In her defense I guess she never though I’d leave Quebec. I’m a jewelry artist and painter. I’ve been creative as long as I can remember and things haven’t changed. I now live in Scottsdale, AZ. I spend most days in my studio making pieces that speak to my heart. Thanks for stopping by!!
I love the new year. So many possibilities!! The holidays were awesome and I’m stoked to get back at it. Last month I purchased this labradorite stone. Yup….it’s huge. The only answer was a big pendant and you can see below what I made with it!!
The setting is all sterling silver and the sterling silver chain is 36″ long with an extra hoop so it can be adjusted.
I stamped *wherever I go I go with my heart* on the back. I also created two cutouts so you can see part of the stone.
Btw…you can find this piece in my shop.
This Peruvian opal is quite lovely. The shape and color are perfect.
I finished this dogtooth amethyst yesterday. It’s a large stone but I think it makes a beautiful ring.
Another Bisbee turquoise ring. 🙂
My three latest rings…..labradorite, Bisbee turquoise and dogtooth amethyst.
I’m looking forward to the year ahead. I’ve got new ideas and lots of pretty stones to work with. You can find my latest pieces at my etsy.
see you soon and fill your heart with art!!

I’m having so much fun creating these pieces. It’s so important to find your passion and run with it even if it’s an hour a week. I do get those frustrating moments in my studio when everything goes wrong but then I’ll put on my running shoes and get outside for thirty minutes and when I come back my head is usually cleared up.
This is a pic of the bezel I made before I put in this beautiful labradorite stone.
SWOON….thankfully it’s not in my size or it would of stayed with me…lol.
Here’s a photo of both the labradorite and a new Bisbee turquoise ring. That ring has feathers stamped on it and says….feathers from angels…on the band.
Love, love this piece. It’s a unpolished Bisbee turquoise and it says…. soul of a warrior…on the back. It’s gone to a real warrior. So happy!!
I made it long and I think it was the right choice.
For years I’ve used Moo to do my business cards for my paintings. I just recently started using them for my jewelry. I think they turned out great!!

Two weeks ago today I had the most amazing experience. I had been to the post office the week before and the mail girls asked what I did (since I mail parcels often with them). When I told them that I’m a jewelry artist and I often use turquoise they told me they had a lady that comes in that her father recently passed away and she had a ton on turquoise to sell. I gave them my card and thought nothing more of it. Well….. she went there last week and called me right away. I drove to her home not knowing what to think and when I got there her table was full. Her father had been an artist and bought a ton of stone from a Bisbee miner. He cut and polished all of it. He told his kids it was worth more than gold to him. I started piecing it out and she made me an offer for the whole lot. I took it. This is only a quarter of what I have and it is overwhelming to see the beauty in each and every one. It was my lucky day and I hope I can do justice to all these gorgeous pieces.
This is the first piece I made with the Bisbee turquoise.
This is the back of that Bisbee piece.
I enjoyed making these a couple of weeks ago with the Kingman turquoise. They are all sold but I will be making more in the future.
I’ve also been making many different moon pendant commissions. This one is actually a gift for my mom. The back has my dad’s favorite song and the date they were married. I want her to know that whenever she looks to the moon he is looking down on her and protecting her.
I did just list the last moon I have available on my Etsy shop.
That’s all for now!! I’m heading back to my studio.

I’m officially obsessed with gemstones. Who knew????? I thought that shoes were my only problem but now I have to throw these stones in…lol. These are some of my new ones. Included in the photo are a labradorite, moonstone, African bloodstone, Peruvian opal…..swoon, swoon… candelaria and Nevada turquoise. So much fun!!!!!
I started with the Peruvian opal…omg!! It’s such a beautiful stone. Check out the next two pics. I cut a hole in the back so when the light shines through you can see how lovely it is. These photos don’t have it on a chain yet but I did that yesterday. You can check it out at my Etsy shop.
This piece was so much fun for me to make.
Ahhhhh…..the Kingman turquoise….. I just smile thinking of these amazing stones. I made this sterling silver ring in a size 7.5 so it wouldn’t be close to fitting me…lol. I’m so pleased at the way it looks. Btw…. I keep getting calls from my mom about my manicure or lack of. Really? I had to remind her that my hands are working in metals and files each day. A manicure isn’t going to fix what I have going on…lol.
Have a wonderful start of the weekend!! Thanks for stopping in!!

I’ve been really excited about the turquoise I’ve been working with. This pendant has a Bisbee turquoise. I love the way it turned out. As you’ll see in the pic below I’ve added the words *let your soul and spirit fly*…. it’s a wonderful line from a Van Morrison song. (Funny….many of my man’s family live in Ireland and see Van all the time.)
I sold her as soon as I listed her. She has a special meaning for someone so I’m happy.
I made this link bracelet with a Kingman turquoise. The back side of it says….courage. It’s also sold but I will be making more that are similar.
These are bangles that I’ve attached with a bail that reads….blessed. I’ve also added the word cherish. Again…I’ve used a Kingman turquoise in this piece. You can find this at my Etsy shop.
I just got some great stones that I can’t wait to start working with. Check back soon for updates.

I’ve been working on a bunch of different pieces but mostly ones with messages or inspirational sayings on them. This is a necklace that I’ve stamped the word *inspire* on the bail and *magic* on one side of the drop and *passion* on the backside. It’s a fairly long necklace so all the elements hang nicely.
The pics above are reversible necklaces with *namaste* on one side and *om* on the other. I am doing a bunch of reversibles so whatever mood strikes you can wear them on either side. Love these!!
This is also a reversible necklace which reads….tonight I dream. tomorrow I do. I’ve also added different elements on the chain and a silver drop that says…*believe*.
I mentioned in my Etsy shop that I try and wear each piece out at least once. The first reason is that I can see if there are any issues that I need to resolve before I list it. The second reason is that I like to wear it close to my heart so I can send it out with love. Good mojo goes along way.
I wore this piece above on the weekend and it got many compliments. I listed it yesterday and it’s going to a new home already. It reads….keep it happy>
I rarely make myself anything….lol. Last week I did decide to make myself these quick and easy silver knuckle rings. Love them. They’ll probably stay with me because my fingers are so small!!
I was talking on FB the today how I rarely take out my good camera anymore because my phone is so much easier and the quality of the photos are pretty good. I even photograph all my jewelry with it. No more lugging around that camera. Btw…. this is AZ last night. I think it turned out great!!
See you soon!!

It’s been another fun week in the studio and I seem to have no lack of inspiration. I’ve been back and forth on earrings and necklaces lately and I’ve made a few new pairs of organic hoop earrings which I love the look of. They have a nice swing to them.
The cobalt blue glass beads really sets off the look of these hoops.
This lovely necklace is gone to a new home. It has a lot of meaning to it’s owner as it did to me when I was making it. It reminds her of her dad as it did mine.
This baby has also found a new home. Be free. Be fearless. Good words to remind ourselves daily.
I bought these jade Buddha beads a couple of weeks ago and decided I wanted to incorporate them into earrings.
This is what I came up with as it relates to the Buddha quote… *three things that cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon and the truth.*
I’m currently working on more necklace ideas. The sun, moon, stars and hearts often find there way into some of my jewelry as they did my paintings.
I heard it said once that Texas has big sky. I look out each night and watch the sunset here in AZ and think to myself that Arizona also has really big sky…lol. No lack of visual inspiration here!!
See you soon!!

It’s been a busy week in my studio. I’ve been working on various pieces and working out some upcoming ones. This is a bracelet that I just completed. I made it adjustable so it can fit the smallest wrist like mine or a larger wrist. I love the way it looks on and the *dream* tag I made looks great. 🙂
My pieces are 100% handmade by me.
I made these lovelies this week and they are already going to a wonderful home.
On a different note…lol…. I love all these photo apps that you can play around with. I can get so caught up in them I often have to tear myself away.
I took this pic a few months ago and added a quote that I love.
Just wanted to give a quick update!! See you soon!!!

I recently purchased some vintage beads and they’re so cute. It’s been fun to incorporate them into some of my designs. I held my breath when I ordered them because I wasn’t quite sure what was going to arrive but they came to me like new. So far I’ve put them in some of the earrings.
These are my latest sterling earrings. I think that these are my favorite but I’ve said that about every pair….lol. I’ve added the words….Find. Your. Happy. Place. I think this rings true to many people. We look around for things and people to make us happy when in reality happiness is a feeling that is within us. I like these words in the piece to bring a gentle reminder.
This photo was sent to me recently. My friend, Mae, is one of my biggest supporters. I love that she loves jewelry and mine at that. If she lived closer I would put a hammer in her hand and have her forge away with me. 🙂
