White buffalo turquoise ring

My collection of stones beckons to me each day and I love making new rings with them. The stones are so pretty that I like to let them take center stage. It’s funny because when you look at the stone itself it’s gorgeous but putting it in a setting really shows it off.
The new ring above is a White Buffalo turquoise or White Buffalo. They’re not easy to come by. I have three more of these stones but those have a lot of black in them. This one is mostly white…..swoon!!!
Some of my stones look like you’re hanging at the beach for the day….ha. This new ring is just that.
Peridot and coral rings

I think these little rings are so adorable. You can wear them alone or stack them together. I used peridot for two and coral for the other. There’s a little message on the back of each one. 🙂
Stones like these inspire me each day. The large one is a Damele out of a small mine near Austin, Nevada. The small one is a Carico Lake in matrix and the bright blue one is Easter blue from Nevada. I can’t wait to work on these babies!!! 🙂
Everyday I’m excited to get in my studio to make new pieces!! Thanks for stopping in to take a look!!!!

My name is Manon. (pronounced Man + O) Yes….my mom cursed me with my name. In her defense I guess she never though I’d leave Quebec. I’m a jewelry artist and painter. I’ve been creative as long as I can remember and things haven’t changed. I now live in Scottsdale, AZ. I spend most days in my studio making pieces that speak to my heart. Thanks for stopping by!!
For the last two years I’ve been making organic jewelry pickle to clean the fire scale off of my jewelry after it’s been annealed or soldered. I searched the internet for a non-toxic alternative to the pickles that are commonly sold and I found this easy recipe. It’s a combination of 1 cup white vinegar with 1 tablespoon iodized salt… you can increase the amounts like I usually do.
This pickle works best when it is heated so I keep mine on a coffee warmer. Make sure you turn it off when you are done or it will end up cooking your pickle after a couple of days. When the pickle turns a light blue it’s time to make a new batch. This stuff is fantastic and is completely non-toxic.
Here are some of my jewelry pieces on my cork board. The pretty pink brings a smile to my face every time I walk into my studio.
You can find my jewelry on Etsy.
